Now there is no need to wait for appointments of doctors or a trouble of going to the hospital. Your hospital is in your pocket now.

You can find your doctor based on the region, specialty, and ratings. For patients, it’s free of cost. One can ask any question and the expertise will respond to it in 24 hours.

  • You can book appointments for online help as well as doctor’s visit at the clinic.
  • Health tips are also present on the app.

Practo is a tech healthcare startup which was founded by Shashank ND and Abhinav Lal in the year 2009, in Bengaluru. This company helps the patients to find the doctors of their need and book an appointment. At present, it has expanded its business to 7 cities of India and total of 5 countries.

Facilities:

  • It is having 200 k registered doctors,
  • 8 k diagnostic centers,
  • 10 k hospitals and
  • 4 k Fitness centers.

You cannot only book an appointment but also can chat with the doctor and ask about your problem. The company claims to respond back to the user within a time limit of 20 minutes.

You can order medicines, book your tests or book your appointment through the app. It provides health articles on topics like eating, good skin, healthy hair and weight loss.

Practo Ray which is a Saas software, used by the doctors to maintain their records.

From April 2015 to November 2015, it acquired many other companies which include FitHo, Genii, Insta Health and Qikwell. In Nov 2015, Practo and Uber announced their partnership not only in India but also in Singapore, Philippines, and Indonesia.

4.      Zoctr:

With the availability of general physicians and specialists, it provides a special facility of home nursing. Nidhi Saxena founded it in 2013, Mumbai. The facilities of Zoctr healthcare startup are available in Pune, Mumbai, Bengaluru, Delhi, Ahmedabad, and Kolkata.

Vatsalya is defined as Tender Loving care. It is a healthcare center for oral health. Dr. Srivats Bharadwaj founded it in 2003. There are 20 doctors serving the best oral care services to their patients. There is a total of 64 services provided out of which few are listed below:

  • Bleaching
  • Gum Surgery

  • Root Canal Treatment (RCT)

One can fix an appointment for any particular time also. Zozz has come up with an idea of giving home facility to the patients who actually need to stay home as they are ill. If you live in a rural area, where the hospital is not nearby then your Zozz doctor will reach you and provide you treatment on time.

Jayadeep Reddy and Srikanth founded Zozz in 2015, Hyderabad. The idea of this tech healthcare emerged from the patients who are not able to reach hospitals on time and get the proper treatments because of lack of resources.

It not only provides medicines but also contains a variety of fitness supplements, vitamins, and beauty and baby care products.

According to the name, this tech healthcare startup helps you to get healed with the help of Yoga and Physiotherapy but at your own home. This startup was founded in Delhi by Kshitij Garg, in 2014. A team of IITians and Ex-Fortis’s Professionals having experience of 35 years in their fields handles it. It provides facilities like nursing, attendant, mother and child care, yoga and physiotherapy.

It is having more than 200 experts which are ready to serve the service every time. The star rating is 4.82 out of 5 which is a very good figure in itself. They have already served their services in more than 30,000 homes.

The funding was provided by Daljit Singh, the president of Fortis Hospital, B.V.R Mohan Reddy, Padma Shri Awardee and Ex-Chairman of NASSCOM, Dr. Pramath Raj Sinha, Founder of ISB and Hyderabad Angels but the amount is not disclosed.

9.      Nightingale:

A Bengaluru-based healthcare startup, founded by Delian Asparouhov, who is a just 19 years old. This tech startup was inspired by a sad story of his grandmother who did not get proper care in her breast cancer treatment.

The services are available in Bengaluru, Pune, Hyderabad, and Mumbai. It has 300 professionals including speech therapy, physiotherapy, doctors, nurses and much more.

It gives the facility of home visits as well. Therefore, if your loved one requires special care at home, call Nightingale, and you will get the service.

Medwell Ventures has now acquired it.

It has risen a total funding of $40-$50 million.

10. Life Circle Health Services:

This healthcare startup is based in Hyderabad having nurses and professionals to provide services to the seniors who are ill or bed-ridden. The services are present in Hyderabad as well as in Delhi. The working hours range from 2 hours to 24 hours depending upon the condition of the patient.

It was founded by Anant Kumar and Priya Anant, in 2013.

It raised a total funding of $150 k in May 2016.
